J & B Storage is amazing! I initially chose to use them due to their great prices. I immediately knew I made the right choice when I walked in! Cindy is so nice and professional and helpful, she’s easy to work with and explains everything you need to know! The storage units themselves are clean and easy to access. You have 24/7 access to your unit and it is all really secure! I can’t recommend J & B enough!

I had my unit for 6 months and the price nearly doubled my previous storage went up about $25 each month. I’ve had difficulty online setting up auto payments. After 6 months they wanted proof of rental insurance or wanted to charge me for there’s my rental insurance never changed from move in but it became my responsibility to send them all the info and was getting different information between the online customer service and whomever was texting me locally. I had a car accident and had two late payments and was told they only will waive one in the lifetime of the account but than said that the management refused a refund or reversal of the fee even though they where paid as soon as i realized I was late. I wouldn’t suggest using clear home unless u plan on staying less than 6 months they don’t care about customer service or keeping you as a client. I’m afraid of how much they will increase my rent if I stayed another period.

After the last owner to date. The new owners are extremely unprofessional. They cut off our lock after my Grandmother died for being one month behind. Forced us to have to get everything out after to avoid that happening again. And in the process lost tons of our property and priceless memories. This was all after nearly 8 years never being late on payments to avoid losing your property and horrible treatment so not use this business for storage.

If I could rate negative stars, I would. I’ve used many storage units in the past but none have been THIS incompetent. Miscommunication, misinformation, and constantly ready to pick a fight, I think of the quote from Shakespeare, “There’s no more faith in thee than a stewed prune.” She will lie to your face, then once realized the math ain’t mathing, will say anything to make you question your reality. During our last month, my friend (the account holder) and I went to talk to her about taking our things and not sticking with her for the next month. She told us she would be there and to come in anytime. We waited with a couple who had made an appointment with her to close their account and gain access to the UHAUL they paid for so they could move across the country. The couple told us how ready they were to get out of this business because the manager had been rude and miscommunicating with THEM the whole time. We compared notes and realized we weren’t the only one who had recent issues with her. The 4 of us kept calling the numbers the manager provided. Which only called the office we were standing next to (even using the Google number for the corporate office). Other couple ended up calling UHAUL themselves and asked if they could help us get ahold of her, they said no but they could give them access to their truck. Another hour passes and the couple are able to get their truck and leave. Before they do, one of us was able to get an answer from ClearHome corporate, stating they just contacted her and she told them that she forgot about a last minute family function she had to be in Denver for and that she’d be there in 30 mins. 30 mins pass and she calls us again saying it’ll be another 30 mins. It was hot and neither my friend and I have good air conditioning in our cars, so we waited under the tree in front of her office. When she finally returned she screamed at us for being on her property. Now for the personal experience. My banking info was on the account with my name as the alternative holder. Even though I had the code to get into the gate and the key to get in my unit, she would find every reason under the Sun as to why I couldn’t access my things. She would only ever let up temporarily if I had my friend with me (the account holder, who btw kept giving her permission for me to be there by myself). On my last day of collecting my things before having to pay for another month, she called the police on me for “trespassing” and continued provoking a negative reaction. Taunting that “the police will be here soon and I’ll make SURE they escort you off the premises.” Right as I was putting my last 2 boxes in. Then drove away on her golf cart to plant herself in front of the gate so I wouldn’t be able to leave. I understand being a manager of a business is stressful and especially since the office is also her house, however this experience was just plain unprofessional and frustrating to say the least. Thank you for reading. As I’m typing, I’m learning my friend is actively being harassed by the manager. To that I say, You chased me out of the storage unit calling the cops. A week AFTER both the account holder and I told you we will not be continuing the lease after the month of June because of how unhappy we were. What in your right mind makes you think we’re coming back? Babygirl, I know you’re obsessed but becoming a con artist isn’t going to help your case. We both told you we were done and I told you on the very last day of June (the day YOU used the cops to try to chase me out even though I was already leaving. Remember?) that we were done and that we wanted nothing more to do with you or your poorly managed business. We told you June was our last month and that we really didn’t care if you sold the rest of the stuff in the unit or not. You trying to charge us for the months after could get you in a lot of trouble sweetie. Kindly leave her alone or we will be getting a restraining order against you ?? this is your final warning.

Bought a storage unit and wasnt able to get ahold of the managers to set up a time to come pick it up. There may be a problem with their email service as their desk person said she sent one but I never received any. She was nice. I came during opening hours to get the locker and they didnt have a record for how I could pay. This would have been nice to know or have been told before I made the long drive down. She called the main office and they told her I wasnt able to buy the locker anymore. Would have been understanding if I had been told but overall a very bad experience with no communication.

The old owners were great. As soon as the new owners took over we got out as soon as we could. They upped the price, then we had to provide proof of insurance or buy theirs, and they changed the access hours. When asked, they said they sent out one email but no calls or any follow ups. They also cancelled our auto payment without telling us so we fell behind without knowing it.

I wish I could get my stuff out of this place. Currently a little far, but once I get back to Colorado I am immediately terminating my lease with them. My move in day I wasn’t able to open the gate multiple times even with my gate code. When I came after the office was closed to finish moving my stuff, I spent 30 minutes talking to a useless customer service agent that could not get me access to my unit. They put me on hold and then just hung up… after 30 minutes of trying to figure out a solution. Had to wait until the on-site manager got back and then she had the audacity to tell me it was MY FAULT. Seriously some of the most abysmal customer service I’ve ever had to experience. Would love to give this place 0 stars.

If there was a zero star I would give it! I just started with this company right before the ownership change and it was great with the previous owners J&B storage. I didn't like the new gate hours changing from 24 hour access to 10 P.M. with the new owners. I just received the worst customer service in the experience when I went in the office to pay my bill! She rudely told me that the don't accept cash and we were all sent an email about it in December. Apparently it offended her when I asked about not accepting cash because then she threatened to terminate my lease in five days. How can she do that if I am trying to pay? I would suggest that if you don't accept cash, at least post it on your door so your customers are forward and not subjected to hostility and rudeness from Clearhome storage employees. I will be taking my business elsewhere immediately!
